Fruits, herbs and flowers are kept as seasonal as possible, ensuring the very best flavour, less travel miles, and a sense of connection to time and place.

If it grows in the UK, that's where Sonnda likes to get it from. As near to home - Glasgow, Scotland - as possible.

When it comes to foreign necessities - like sugar, chocolate, nuts and spices - quality, ethical and sustainable production determine selection. 

If it's not natural, it won't get through the Hautecake kitchen door.

Everything is handmade. From scratch. No pre-made conveniences.
